YMMV, but from my experience — WiFi was a mess in my case.
MQTTMaster: I've been running this for several years and it's been pretty solid. The automations work well if you understand correctly.

Completely agree — I had the same issue and solved it by reconfiguring the hub. Took me forever to find that configuration option.
